everyone from chicago is staying at the Super 8 in Ankeny.. it's between Ames and Des Moines. they still have lots of rooms open too. - just a heads up so if there's only a few of you comin down you'll know where to find a few friendly faces.

I definitely would like to go. It really sucks not having a Scion now. Would you all be ok with an SI joining you? Or a Camaro, that is what my bf is getting and he might want to take that....How much are the hotels? That would be the big thing on if i could afford to go or not.

If I remember correctly, that is the same weekend as Iowa State University's graduation ceremony in Ames. That is why the hotels are probably booked. However, there should be plenty of hotels open in Ankeny or Des Moines. It is a 30-45min drive from Des Moines to Ames.

It's supposed to be near the club they are going to Sat. night.

The show is actually in Ames, less than 30 minutes, but this hotel is supposed to be near the club where everyone is going afterwards.

It's also where everyone from Oklahoma, and I believe KC, is staying.

Andy, I will give ya a call on tuesday. I worked my reguler job and sherriffing all last week, this weekend, and now it looks like tomarrow. So i am just to tired to talk to anyone or remember what italked to anyone about...plus im a lil cranky too.

I'm gonna do a half day at work that friday. I am leaning towards being clocked out at noon.

I think we should meet at somwhere around 35 and 494. Would be the easiest. Then we dont have to worry about keepin everyone together while goin through spaghetti junction. I also want to pick up some walkie talkies like we did at the last duluth cruise. That way if somone needs gas, or is having a problem we can communicate. Plus its more fun and makes the ride go quicker.

Any of you guys have rader detectors? I dont, but I'm not worried about it. It would just be nice out on the open road.

hehe, jeremy and I used walkie talkies on our cruise down to tunerfest in OKC, it was a blast,i recommend everyin cruisin together, GET EM!

Brian you dont need Radar detectors? okay maybe for Andy, but you and Chad cant moving that fast in those boxes...lol

Fun road trips. That was in a caravan with several Scions from Tulsa or OKC to Dallas -- something like that.

Take walkie talkies on your road trip -- it is the best entertainment when you are caravaning.

Chad, have her tell them she is going down to Iowa for a wedding, or a funeral....whichever is more believable. Legally they have to let her go for a funeral...especially a close relative.

So just have her spring it on the bossman that tuesday. Tell him you guys have to drive down there and the wake starts at 5pm. That way you wont get caught in traffic. :)
