I ordered seat brackets from Weapon R and I recieved them about two weeks ago. I was very happy that I got them because I could finally install my seats after 6 months of waiting. I opened the box and come to find out there's only one seat bracket. I also noticed the box was banged up pretty bad and half of the seat bracket was sticking out of the box. :tap: I called Weapon R about 10 minutes after the UPS guy left and they told me to send them pictures and I did withen about 10 minutes I had the pictues for them. Now, its been 2 weeks and I was told they would pick them up and then when they recieve the old one they would finally send out the new ones. Its been two weeks and I have got nothen picked up or even a phone call. I am very disapointed in their service and I will never buy from them again. NEVER> NEVER< NEVER.
I am just posting this because I don't want anyone else to get screwed like I did. Weapon R SUCKS and I will never deal with them again.
yeah, ill never buy from them again either. they are having an issue with replacing my broken engine damper bracket. they say i have to send in the broken one first even though i sent them pics of the bracket, my proof of purchase and yet i am supposed to go through the trouble of removing it and wait for the new one to come in then install it again. When the whole issue is thier crappy welding job. I just dont have the time to take it off in the first place. i only work 70hrs+ a week!
So i welded it myself instead.
Sorry to add to your post but i wanted to jump on the bandwagon with this one, lol

Most of them are pretty good on this site, and MWM APPEARS to be ok but they are very difficult to work with. I gave up after going back and forth for 3-4 weeks. Definately not going back to them!
I have already let others in my community aware of thier CS issues as well. whatever, thier loss i guess

after looking at the pictures, and seeing how the bracket was packaged in the box, I feel I had to post. I work at the UPS Store and pack tons of boxes on a daily basis. It looks to me that that box was packaged with no peanuts or bubble wrap for something that is metal, sharp edges, and could easily pierce through a single corrigated box. They should definitly give atleast an inch an a half on every side of the box and atleast use peanuts surrounding the mounting bracket. There is no way something that heavy with that many sharp edges will ever make it without getting damaged (the box or the item). They need to learn how to box things up. That should have never arrived the way it did.

I have had many boxes that were sent back directly to our store because the packaging wasn't sufficient and the box either caved in, or was damaged. They aren't going to just slap some tape on it and send it on its way when it looks as destroyed as that box does. DOESN'T HAPPEN. That box definitly was not a brand new box to begin with, look at all the tape on it. All that tape would not do anything for a brand new box, you wouldn't need it. About the driver throwing the other guys strut into his backyard... :loser: ...thats just an idiot driver. Those safety concerns/situations are up to the drivers. Looks like the one that delivered your box didn't know what he was doing and/or was very afraid of it getting stolen. The box shouldn't have arrived as it did, it should have been stopped and sent back to weapon R, but I can tell you for a fact that UPS didn't do all that damage. When I bought my intake from Weapon R - it was sent to me in the original box that was inside another box filled with peanuts. It arrived perfect, I don't know who handled the shipping for your mounting bracket...but they should be fired.

I can't stand that either. The bracket was wrapped in about an 1/2 inch of very small bubble wrap. The part that was sticking out of the box was not even wrapped. If they packeged it right in the first place I would be sitting on my seats in my tC already. But now I have to wait even longer. :nope:

Let me start off by saying if anyone receives a package from any shipping company from any company in the condition that this customer received it in should automaticly refuse the shipment for damaged goods. In no way do we ship any item out in that condition. Also if you look at the pictures there is brown packing tape. UPS BROWN packing tape. We do not use UPS BROWN packing tape. I can tell you i persoanlly packaged that "SET" of seat brackets. From what i can tell UPS damaged the box LOST the other side seat bracket. I also explained to this customer that there is a process that wee must go through to file a damage claim through UPS. I did tell you it will take time to go through this process. Just friday afternoon we received notice that UPS is has denied our claim.
also in regards to the UPS store worker the brackets were wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. I personally wrapped them myself. Looks like UPS lost the bubble wrap too.
I am extremlly sorry you feel this way , and had to go on the board to voice your opinions. Please call me directlly to resolve this issue accordinlly.

I wont comment on WR. I will comment on shipping companies.
When I was 18, I worked at RPS (like UPS but different company). The stuff they do to packages is amazing. I loaded trucks at main hub. Stuff came down a chute to the back of the truck. I picked the box up and loaded in a 40 foot trailer by hand. Well the front of the truck is a 40 foot walk from where the package lands. Do you think I walked each package to the front of the truc???
The stuff people did to packages was horrible. We did bulk shipments of cheetos. Guys would ACCIDENTLY break the box open, grab a bag of cheetos, then tape it up and throw a claim sticker on it. And on it went.
Yup I highly doubt WR sent the box like that. This is UPS fault. But WR shouldnt make you wait for a claim to go through. That is their battle to get refunded. They should refund or ship new to you immediatly.
Good luck

you shouldn't jump on the bandwagon just because you hear comments from other people... it might be a good way as far as initial research, but people's opinions and experiences vary.. don't come to conclusions (and post as such) until you have had those experiences yourself
when you have had experiences with them on a first hand basis, it would be better for you then to be able to express your opinion... but since you haven't (that i can see).. then well... i hope that others don't influence your opinions so quickly.

Ok, I'll chime in on WeaponR. I purchased their seat brackets for my xB and the seating position was insanely low. I'm 6'1" and I could barely see over the steering wheel with these brackets attatched to Sparco seats. Anyone under 6 feet tall would not be able to see out the front windshield, let alone drive the car safely.

Chris, I respect Weapon-R for coming in here to clear up the issue and help out your customer personally. Any company that does that gets an extra point in my book. I just wanted to comment on the packing tape - just because it's brown, doesn't mean UPS uses it. The store I work at uses clear packaging tape and the Tempe UPS Hub uses clear tape also, I know this for a fact. Just wanted to put that out there that just because it's brown tape, doesn't mean it's UPS' tape. Yea, he should have denied the package, but the only problem most times with that is that if the driver determines the area to be safe, they will just leave the package at the door and go. Most people would take the package in and open it up before they call UPS to come pick it back up and deny the package.
PS: I love my intake :P

I would totaly like to clear this issue up. The return label was email to you 1 1/2 weeks ago for the other seat brackets to be picked up from you. please check your email. UPS made a mistake when issuing the call tag pick-up. the ups came here wanting to pick up those seat brackets. When they should have went to you to pick them up. the long delay is from them. If you think we are given you the run around here is the ref number from ups.

I don't see why these companies should operate any differentlry tahn other types of businesses? I understand they are small, but whats with this waiting for a UPS claim to be filed? Customer revieves broken product, returns product, recieves new product. What happens on the back end is the companies' business. Any reputable company would operate that way. Reminds me of when I worked as a house painter; my boss would get in arguements with the homeowner, end up not getting paid - then would come to us and say "I didn't get paid on that last job, I'll call you when I get a check." Aaaaaaaahhhh... no, sorry bud. My business arrangement with you is not dependent on your dealings with others.

Lip, you fabb'd up the brackets yourself?? Cool, you should start production on your own brackets as you have a reputable company that people can trust and customer assistance that is top notch. I no longer have the Sparco seats, actually I only had them in the car for about a week and removed them cause I felt it was dangerous to drive in that seating position and only 3 of the 4 bolts lined up with the brackets.
So we can all agree that WeaponR SUCKS!! Their brackets for the xB were too low and didn't line up with Sparco seats. When I asked them what I should do, I got a bs response that I should re-drill the brackets myself. Thanks WeaponR.........for nothing!

The holes where drilled so close to the end if I would get into an accident the bolts would snap right off and rip the hole open.... ......So, now I decided I will just throw the seat brackets away because I dont even want someone else to rish their lives with them, oh and by the way Weapon R I am still waiting for the return shipping so I can ship back your ONE seat bracket its already in the box waiting for your label... ..... ..... .....I bet it will be like a month again... ......
I would not let anyone buy these brackets and I give this product two thumbs down..Not worth dieing over and not worth $110

Sorry to hear. Anything can happen in shipping. Insurance is a must nowadays.
I love my WR short ram. Wouldn't trade it for any other filter/intake.

contemplating producing these. its alot of work..need to find someone to make a jig and reproduce them. Not cheap is the issue. Whats nice though is...i have some adjustment, front to rear, and tilt.
The alluminum side brackets come with the carbon fiber seats we well on our site.
I'll look into the production of them and take a look at a tc
btw...my seats don't move what so ever. solid as rock

i hate when places give you the run-around and try to stick the blame on someone else
It is not a run around. there is a process a comapny that ships item they must go through to file claims for damged goods.
Im sorry you dont understand these process.
Actually this is true, UPS dent my one of my 18" wheel during shipping
it took the online wheel company 3 months to complete the claim process and
send me a new wheel. UPS claims are extremely slow so you just have to be patient
