Default Ticking noise with Injen CAI is it worth it?

I have heard that when the Injen CAI is installed you will hear a ticking noise.
Is it fixable or do you just have to live with it?
Would anyboyd suggest another CAI, but I have heard that the Injen is the best.

How many people have you heard it from? I haven't heard that except from a couple recent posts. It's likely not installed correctly or is rubbing on something.

i just installed the rest of my cai.it was a pain but anyway mines hasen't made the ticking sound in a couple of days.i think it has to do with the outside temp.it's been in the high 70's here

ergh... how many times do i have to say this.... the vacuum switching value goes off because it has to do something with temperature... warm curb idle, emissions stuff... that tick is even there before you install a CAI.... it might sound a little louder with one.... but it's controlled by the ECU or something... it does it's job when it needs to.

but i do admit.. i was paranoid at first when i first heard it for the 1st time after i installed the injen CAI.... it's just one of those "after install paranoia" moments... don't worry about it.

i wouldn't suggest anything but the injen.

sometimes i wish stupid hurt. the ticking has nothing to do with CAI besides the fact that the vavle is attached to the metal bracket which is why you hear the tick. it ____ing normal. deal with it.

I felt the same way after the s/c install. It's good to know it's normal.
