View Full Version : Circuit City tricked out our xA!
Check it out, circuit city shows the xA on its web site as their marquee for ride customization. Kinda ugly with all the logos but hey at least we get the recognition!!!!

chadfo 05-17-2004, 08:39 AM Aaaauuuuuuuughhhhhhhh!! That looks terrible. I can't believe CC did that car. They can't install like that in the real world. They put in premade crap. Everyone that mentions stereo to me gets recommended to a local dealer. I'd never ever ever ever ever send anyone to CC for car audio.

subcode 05-17-2004, 06:25 PM I got to say any exposure for an xA is good , and a major player in that market is good, however it doesn't have much functionality as a daily driver...but it's a display car and for that reason alone I don't mind.....incidentally I have had my local CC do installs for me and they're reasonable, knowlegable and cool with me.
BoomBox757 05-17-2004, 06:27 PM thats so rice
dinkjs 05-17-2004, 06:32 PM The outside would look great if they got rid of that damn huge Circuit City sign on the side...that single thing ruins it for me
Pulse 05-17-2004, 06:39 PM Actually, some CC's can, and will, do that for you. But their hourly rate is usually more then regular shops.
I worked there for a while and we did more then one wild, custom, install. It just depends on the particular store, it's level of experience and the wallet of the guy wanting the install done. :)
tbblizzard 05-17-2004, 07:04 PM the gauges in the stereo spot look cool/weird.
Besk_one 05-17-2004, 07:04 PM sorry, but imho that's just horrible
looks like someone crashed an xA into the chrome section at Pep Boys

bBism 05-17-2004, 10:24 PM from my understanding the dvd screen on the top of the dash is a NO NO in the 50 states im told. you guys know anything on this?
doctorcue 05-17-2004, 10:47 PM As a former CC'r myself, yeah you wouldn't see that coming from a roadshop normally. Yet, I think the car looks good. It IS a show car, not a daily driver. So, as a show piece, I think it looks good. Yeah, the CC logo isn't the greatest, but to me it looks just as goofy as any other companies logo splashed across a ride. The car isn't meant to be subtle. I would like to see & hear that in person. Kudos to the installer(s) who did this.

Yeah, pretty cool and the in floor screen... my kids would get made at the game and kick it into the floor more. LOL
A little overkill for my taste. I like LJ's more...
