Install it yourself and with a friend, save $160. The springs are easy enough and you could find the install how-to in the tech section. Many people did it themselves with that guide. If you don't think you could do the intake, find a cheaper place. It only took me an hour and 10min, which I'm very proud of, to install the aem one and I don't know jack about engines. Is it toyota that's charging $160?

It's amazing how things add up when it comes to spending money on our Scions.

Some NorCal Scion owners had theirs lowered for $50 bucks and as for Injen Air Intake, someone from Tracy can help you with the install...

Ive got you beat :P

I ve got seats, harnesses, wilwood big brake kit, 18" wheels wrapped in Toyos and a whole assortment of interior and engine dress up pieces. Way too much crap if you ask me. Its taking up an entire corner of my shop and becoming a major pain in the ___.

Suppossedly my car may come in today, but i m not holding my breathe

HardHitten, first of all, there is no such thig as too much brake. :)

While the brake s on the Scion are descent, they are absolutely tiny. Im running 18" wheels and they look idiotic. Just like all those stupid SUVs that sport 24s and have 10" discs.

2 things, when you add big wheels, the braking distance greatly increases. MOst people dont realize this.

Second thing is, I work for Wilwood, well, not for them per say, but they in a way, send me cars to build brake s for them. A few of the cars at SEMA this year were done by me :)
