I have the twm. They have 2 stages now. I bought it way back when they only had one stage. I love it. Nice short throws, take some getting used too at first but its great. The throws are much shorter.....

the only ppl i have done isntalls for that couldnt do it them self were just to weak to pull off the top portion that goes over the pivot point on the shifter lol

its a very easy mod just takes a little bit well like 30 min

I have the B&M and it is awesome. I did the install and it took me a few hours. A couple of reasons for this: 1) I like to take my time - particularly when I am dealing with the trim for the first time - and there were a few clips/fasteners that had not been disclosed in the install instructions. Also the car was only three weeks old and I was poking around checking out the whole thing; and 2) as aaron pointed out - to pull off the top portion that goes over the pivot point on the shifter was a son-of-a-gun.

I was doing it in my garage in 26 degree temperature, too. So my install time is not really a fair representation of what someone who just wants to swap it out.

In the end, it was a fun few hours, and I ended up with a much better than stock shofter that I believe shortened throws by almost 50%! Plus it feels better while shifting... the stock setup felt like I was shifting the stick through a bowl of oatmeal.

B&M all the way!

I have the CC and it works really well. I've had it for about a week.

Will it get any smoother? Neutral is really stiff, it doesn't bother me just wondering. Other than that the movement is a lot shorter I like it. I just need to fix my boot and find a new ****.

I've had the twm short shifter and I currently have the TRD short shifter....i like the trd because of the leather shifter and its alot smoother...the tmw is lower so it'll get into gear a bit quicker but it was a little rough for my liking....

TWM stage 2 here. Shorter, much shorter than stock throws. A little notchy. It takes a little more umph to change gears, but now I can't stand driving other manual cars. I'm so used to short precise throws, that everything else just feels like crap. When I drive other manual cars and i'm shifting in them, I don't get that precise feeling letting me know i'm in gear.

I have the TRD short shifter. Installation was not too bad. As long as you can read instructions, you can install it.

The throws are noticeably shorter, but it is a bit more notchy than the stock setup. But I like it. And I really dig the leather shift **** that came with it.

I have the CC and I love it. It will smooth out over some time but not much.. I like that the shifter is shorter than stock, it looks better. there is an easy fix for the boot if you search on here. install took me maybe 45-1 hour.
compared to other shifters, you can't beat the price with a stick..
