It's official...

Gray-Daniels Scion will have its first Scion "Carfest" on April 8 from 1-5pm

We will have:
Showing off your tricked out Scions
Trophies and Prizes for the Carshow
T-shirts and other giveaways
an interesting game of cards with a great prize
Local radio station Y101 from 2-5
10 yes TEN Hooters girls
Food Catered by Hooters
And more to come

Right now I have trophies with gift certificates for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers....a prize for the winning poker draw (given at registratio).....food from Hooters....t-shirts, etc..music by Y101 FM radio..plus I aam sure some of you will be cranking your stereos out back.

Come on Deep South!!! We need to support these folks!!! We need to support all the dealers that are helping us out....

From Baton Rouge...Take I-55 north to I-20 in Jackson, Ms. From there go east on I-20 until you get to exit 54 (Crossgates Blvd) in Brandon. Turn left at the light and turn right Gray-Daniels Blvd.

We are setting up our back parking area (facing the interstate) so pass the front of our store then turn right oh the road that seperates us from the Nissan store. We will have it marked off. See ya there!!

My Scion Rep tells me that he will buy a tank of gas for the Scion that travels the longest distance to come to this event. Sounds like a challenge to me!!!

I know you guys probably don't know me i saw the car show whisi could make it but, can't work. Anyway i drive a 06 scion tc flint mica bone dry stock. I hate bein broke anyway just saying what's up love to run into anyone around the memphis / collierville area. If so hit me up I am always lookin for something to do.

Looks like SE/Memphis won't be able to get down there this time. We are having Camp Scion at my place.

If I don't lose electrical power and can keep vacuming the dog hair out of my toaster (I've been at it for 2 days now) I'll be there! This should be a lot of fun.

I liked the show pics.Those black shirt 1's with jeans were the neatest,lol.Looks like u had a great time .I was dodgeing tornadoes up here.They cancelled the Amory show at 3:00 p.m. Friday then resumed it today.I stopped by for only a second.It was very cold outside .

Oh...forgot to mention....ScionPilot grabbed first place. That was a sweeet xA. Again, where were all the xA and tC peeps?

Enjoyed the show today. Was great weather and nice to meet other Scion owners. Looking forward to the next one. Got lots of good ideas about future mods.

I just got home to DFW, Ken and I had a great time. We had fun meeting eveyrbody, and the black shirt and jean ladies were kool too. As too the number of xAs and tCs the number of xAs was about par for the course, but I agree where were the tC's?

As for comments, both Ken and I agreed on the drive home that the idea for the 3rd place was a great idea and was very original. And I think the food, car show and radio remote could have been a little bit closer together. But like I said overall all it was a very good first show for you Howard, and all the Gary Daniels Scion/Toyota crew :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

About how far is the show from New Orleans? Just curious, sitll plan on bringing out the bB.
