ive herd the alphawerks headers have a better gain? does anyone know by how much?

i have an INJEN CAI and im wondering if headers are a good next mod?

injen intake is one of the best for the TC. and many owners agree.

the AW have more gains by 1-2hp.

only different between the 2 are ceramic or stainless steel. of course there are pros and cons for each of the material

stainless steel turns goldish (yuck), where the dc stays the same color forever! dc here i come!

yeah i have heard that the dc header flanges start to rust, and if you have finger prints on your ss header before you start make sure to wipe them clean unless you want them to be permanent

 

under what circumstances? like if proper care is not taken, or is it fate?

if u look around ebay u can probably get alphawerks for a hair more than 270. ive installed dc headers on every vehicle ive owned and never ran into problems. time and time again they have proven their worth.

 

I am running the DC header and like it. I havnet had a single issue at all. just make sure that you dont get anything on any of the headers that you buy as it will be permanant at some point.

 

are the DC scion header carb approved/ exempt? I noticed on the DC sport site some are, and some are not......did i even read that right?

 

I don't think it can carb legal because all the tc headers remove the cat.....

 

greddy will have to include a new cat on there downpipe... lik the dezod kit that will pass smog
