Since the Scion tC is scheduled to run until the 2008 model year, do you think it's a better idea to wait for the 07 or 08 model of the tC? You never know what additional features that the newer model years will have on them. From what I've guessed, the tC model isn't going to be any different than what we have now. So I am thinking that the 07 and 08 models are going to be exactly the same except with some addtional features. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The only addtional feature that the 06 has over the 05 was the iPod integration and HUD on the steering wheel. The model itself is identical between the 05 and 06. So what do you guys think? Wait? or Buy Now?

 

If I was you, I'd wait for the 2008 or at least the 2007. I got the 2005 and I was ____ed when the 2006 came out like 3 months later with features I would have liked to have...

probaly like June July, thats when the 06 came out last year.

 

the changes are minimal, i dont know what else they could add to the tC without jacking up the price significantly. I would say buy the car when its financially best for you, or wait for the next RS.

 

I bet the RS has a new stereo like the boxes new Alpine.
I dunno. It's like computers and iPods - there's always going to be a faster, cooler, cheaper, better model out after you buy yours.
Get something now and enjoy it. When it's time to sell or trade, just do it.
They will always get better...

i would buy now, when you are capable...you never know what can happen so if you have the money now go ahead..as far as features, if you like what the 06 has to offer get it, why wait to see what the 07 has? you like the tC for what it is, not what its going to be, and how do you know they wont mess up the styling.. who knows they can pull a honda...

 

i forgot to mention that the price for the tC did go up compared with the 05 tC too. Do you guys know of any other addtional features that the 06 has over the 05?

Alright I'm getting one! I'm already on the list for the RS2.0. But what really are the differences between 05 and 06?

 

 

the only differences that i know of are:
1. steering wheel mounted controls
2. ipod capability
3. thats all i can think of

o what? i thought the 06 didnt come with *****, cuz i have an 06 with ipod and it has ***** but my homeboy with an 06 no ipod has push buttons

 

considering it's march, and the 07's might be out sometime around June/July 'ish, I'm just waiting until then. Plus, a couple more months will give you time to save up a little more for your downpayment. Regardless of getting a 06 or an 07 though, if you want the new accessories, chances are you can always buy them later and install them yourself

if i were you, id just get one now. i just ordered mine last sunday and i cant wait!
if you always just say that you'll wait for a newer model to come out, you prob wont end up getting one just because all you'll be doing is waiting. of course a newer model will always come out and be better but who cares. just enjoy what you can get.
