That looks very similar to what Adrian has (scioninla) and it doesnt look bad at all.

Go with the edashkit They have the best quality and you get alot of parts for the money. You can see a pic in my signature.

 

That is the kit that was given to me by Scion during the Exposed event. It is a factory option and it has the best fit. It's molds around the dash unlike some of the flat pieces you see in most kits.

It looks nice in person and the fit is perfect as I mentioned.
My car does have a lot of real carbon fiber pieces but this piece still compliments the rest of the carbon fiber accents I have on the car.

anyone up to making the real thing? All the searches I do lead to these. I need a custom center console (around stereo) for my liliput monitor and might as well get the rest done also. Where can one go to get this stuff done?

I'm missing something or have never seen real carbon fiber.

But what's the big draw? When I saw some of the carbon fiber at the scion dealer I didn't see anything speacial about it.

Does it fade like all stickers after a while (I live in South Carolina so the sun can get pretty intense in a vehicle).

Why is carbon fiber stickers so hot?

It costs literally about $4 to make that fake CF crap.

I just don't like that you can see the silver underneath the carbon fiber around the door switches and the center console. Wish somebody had ones that matched the exterior paint shades.

 

The real stuff looks like ___ too. It's a paintable material intended to be strong and light, it was never intended to be pretty.

I'm not a big fan of cf being used in places where there is no advantage to using it. Cf is a structural material, not a decorative trim fabric!
