Default MP3 Problems

I seem to be having problems creating MP3 discs. I'm only getting one or two files out of 70 on a disc to work. Can some one give me explicit directions on labeling the tracks, or whatever it is I'm doing wrong? Is using Direct CD a problem? Should I not close the disc once I'm done? Help!

if you're using windows xp just open the cd drive from my computer, it will show an empty folder, then just drag your mp3s over to the cd drive and it will copy them over temp. then click write these files to cd on the left and it will open up the write dialog asking you to name the disc and what not, just go through all that stuff and proceed to burning.
use folders to seperate your music if you need to. folders have nothing else to do with it, just for organizing. lemme know if you got problems still.
i only use programs for buring when i need to burn iso images and what not, windows does a good job for burning everything, it's pretty quick and i haven't had any problems with messed up files or skipping discs. i have 6 discs full of mp3s in my hu, none of them have problems, used windows to burn them all.

what programs are you using to create your mp3 disc. Make sure you burn it as a data disc and also that there are no wma wav files because or mp3 players can only read mp3 format
