NICE.. the pics dont work but the link does.. Go 2 inch drop you'll be much happier. But I say if you can afford the volks, buy coilovers, you'll be even happier. BTW are those real volks?

Nice clean car and 18" TE's are always sick. GJ. As for the sympathy, you'll get none from me. The only thing you'll get from me is envy because to be able to afford 18" TE's, ZX, and a RHD SR20 means you're ballin or just eating major ramen .
2" would be perfect for you. 1finger gap or less would make it clean.

lower that thing at least 2".

Oh man.. you HAVE to lower it AT LEAST 2"! No offense to those who are down less than that, but in all honesty, once you've seen, ridden, and driven a Scion that's properly-lowered about 3.8", you're going to want to make sure your car is down as much as possible!
About that 180SX... you didn't happen to buy that within the last 4 months did you?

Damn, I've been beaten to the punch!
Very nice wheel choice. I am hoping for the same on a blue box.
Atleast now I know for sure what it'll look like.
I think you need some coil-overs, so you can play with the ride height.
I don't know how much a set of cusco is capable of dropping an xB,
but they seem to be some of the best coil-overs out there.
 :drooling:

Great way to recycle your own wheels! Nothing better then that. They will look hot when you drop it. What have you done to the ZX2? You might not recognize me but I'm in and out of the teamzx2 forum. I have a silver ZX2, but I'm getting bored and I'm highly considering the xB as the next project. I have to sell my Z before I can do anything. Check it out! Let me know what you think.

Sorry for taking so long to reply guys! I had a last minute Las Vegas road trip with some homies that came up and hit up SEMA while we were there. Anywho. ..
Sorry the pictures don't work, they do on my side for some odd reason. oh well, anyone know how to get around webshots pix? I tried the right click properties aproach to find the REAL location of them but that obviously didn't work.
komplex: Thanks dude! And its not about how much you got, its about people you know! But i think you might be right in getting some coilovers. ..My homies over at APEXi said they can prolly score some worldsports for me so i'll look into that.
scionic: dude, trust me. . .its some MAJOR RAMEN going on. . ..lol damn this hobby
scionvan: where in the hell have you seen a properly lowered 3.8 dropped xb?! that sounds sick! And on that 180, no. I purchased it end of december. . kind of a happy new year to me gift! :D why?
Xb normo: yeah, bronze are nice too, i was thinking about powder coating them but to get the exact color and look would be just too hard. ..they'll just end up looking like cheap immitations you know?
DR xB: NA NA NANA NA :P haha, naw, just kidding. I just happened to have these on my other car, i'm a believer in recycling when possible. . haha
jdmxb: thanks bro!
kjc: haha, i was just happy when i found out the scion was 4x100. I was like suuweeet! As far as the zx2 goes that thing has gone through hell! lol. I mean i went through nitrous, custom turbo setup, and now back to just I-H-E. The car is getting cleaned up and i'll probably be forced to sell it after. This whole F&F era is just killing any fun i was having. I mean, the orange with white te's were just screaming to cops to pull me over. It got to the point where i didnt even want to drive anywhere cuz i was scared i'd get pulled over again. Socal cops can just be BS sometimes. So we shall see the destination of the zx2.
AS far as dropping it, heres another issue. . .I want to be able to pack my car (4-5 people, luggage, and a full tank of gas) and not have to worry about my car being so low. When i went to vegas last weekend i basically did that and the drop was noticable packed. When you upgrade suspension i know they come with stiffer springs so does that mean even though i lower the xB the stiffer springs will offer the same or little less support then the less stiff stocks? i mean, will it composate for being a shorter spring? thanks for your help guys in advance. ..and i'll see ya'll on the road!

Ah, I see it every day when I look outside. >HAHAHA< It is my roomate's xB, and you can barely fit your shoes under the front lip. Thing is, I can not stress enough how much better it rides than any other lowered Scion I've ever been in! The secret: suspension travel!!! It also actually doesn't scrape so much, thanks to the Scions' short front overhang, and some judicious driving from someone who's used to cars even lower to the ground. It's funny how once you see a super low Scion, you can't go back up...!
I asked about the 180SX because for a while, I thought I had a pretty good idea on most of the RHD Nissans around CA...but there've just been so many brought in within the past 2 years that I don't even know who's who anymore...
