Default 06 tc question

just bought a brand new 06 tc and was wondering what all i can do to this car w/o messing with the warrenty? And also if there is anyone who knows this "do u have to get the oil changed at the factory for the warrenty to remain"?

ALso is there anyone that can tell me if you can hook-up a system "amp and sub" to the stock cd player w/ipod? let me know
thanx

The stereo is not a problem you can have a system hooked up into any factory head unit. As for the warrenty I have no clue what is covered im sure someone knows

yes you can put in a amp and sub.

nothing can void yoru warranty unless they can prove that what you put in was what caused whatever happened.

if something is wrong with the car. and you have after market parts and they can prove that a aftermarket part you put in caused it. then your warranty is voided.

i dont see why you have to go to the dealer for the oil change. you should be fine if you did it elsewhere

The warranty does not actually "void" ... if they prove some other part caused a problem, then that problem is just not covered by your warranty - you'll have to pay for the repairs out of pocket. Your warranty is still in tact and normal.

It's amazing that we made it to thousands of posts without someone ever asking what they should do to mod their car or what might void their warranty. Really.

just search for magnusson-moss act or warrenty... here's previous threads on it:
