Armrest, for sure.

Interior lights are good -- visibility in the cargo area sux . . . . Being the cheep b@st@rd that I am, I bought some battery-operated press lights to hang back there for better illumination. When I get a round tuit, I'll probably wire them in to come on with the dome light.

Floor mats were top priority for me; good quality rubber ones to keep the carpet clean during the winter when slush gets carried in (maybe not a priority with others -- I got my box primarily for commuting and I'm in snowy MN).

The cargo cover for the back was a MAJOR waste of money (even though the actual amount of money was fairly small).

A Spoiler is a MUST.

Fog lights are a MUST.

The box looks MUCH better with both, and they're both practical items as well . . . .

Wheels are good, but I'm going to go for baby moons and chrome trim come spring. (Did I mention that I'm cheep? ;^)

Something to help performance could be good, especially if it doesn't hurt economy when it isn't used, so some kind of improved intake might be something in my box's future.

No pix, sorry.

Above all, have FUN!!

Thanks for posting for me!! Its great to hear....yea Im cheep too...I got some of the timgs that I wanted already. I live in Sunny southern cali so I really dont need heavy duty mats...mine came with them and I got the spolier bc i got the RS 3.0. I really want rims so well have to see...I want armrest but dont really know where to get them just yet because there are a bunch of different people who probably sell them. I havent really looked into it, but my boyfriend is going to help me out. Hopefully getting some feed back here will help me decide. Thanks again!!

I would have to say interior lighting and underlights. Both do alot for the cars astetic value. Another must have is rims.

Check the forum tech section, there is a ton of do it yourself stuff you can do for not much $$ The foglights are great, the spoiler looks great, but not functional Have fun with your new box!

You need a nice set of 18's then its time to drop it like its hot!! I love the look of the drop with Goldlines. They also seem to be a very popular spring for the xb's!!

Happy Moding!

There are so many options out there, it is hard to make specific recommendations for every aspect of customization. The best advise I could give would be to concentrate on the "big ticket" items first. Don't get caught up in the customizing bug and "nickel and dime" yourself to death.

You are fortunate in that you got the RS3.0 so your sound system is pretty good from the get. So if I were you I would concentrate on stance and rolling stock. Research, and decide on the suspension you want and save for it. Do the same with the wheels. After you get those then you can move on to the "nickel and dime" items like interior dress up, tail lights, grills, etc.

Got to agree that wheels and springs make the most difference, I found my rims/tires on Ebay for 550, and got tein s techs for 165, HUGE difference for about 700 bucks!

Little things I did were, debaging it, chrome exhaust tip ($10 at Wal Mart) maybe cheesy, but i like it, and clearing the front lights (how to in tech section).

above all, have fun with it, and keep it practical for the way you drive.....welcome to the club!

(check my profile for the difference the wheels and springs made)

Fog lights look really good, as does the spoiler. Those were my first two real mods. Lowering it is a must, even though it took me over a year and a half to do it, but it gives it such a better look when lowered.
If you wanna go for things in the inside definently interior lights. i have randodes kit and it was easy to intsall. also the little things like changing the color of the dome light are really inexpensive.

Where in Chino do you live? There are a bunch of us in Chino, Ca. Hit us up if you need something or have questions
