So i live in the wondeful cty of lawrence KS home the ku jayhawks, and the second meanest city to homeless people in the nation according to the government. well let me tell you the other day we were hit by a micro burst packing 90-100mph winds cutting through the downtown area like nothing i'd ever seen before. So whats the first thing i do? grab the shoes and the keys and attempt to move my xb out of the path of destruction(which ended up being about two miles wide, but as soon as i open the front door to my loft on mass st. what do i see but a 150lb awning twice the size of my car fly past my face at about 75 mph and slam into the side of my car shattering rwo windows and twisting the hell of my rear drivers side quarter panel and tailgate while other debris blasted the front end knocking my front bumper off and cracking the corner off my front lip. by the time it was all over the final score was scion 1 microburst $4500. ut what do i care thats what insurance is for and it'll all get taken care of . so whats the moral of this story? tornados can be fun as long as you have the right kind of coverage.

Wow, I was lucky and moved mine into the garage about an hour before the storm hit. I was worried about the hail, but it looks like I should have been worried about debri.

Just glad you didn't get out there in time to get hurt.
What a story though. Tornados and big hailstones are rare here. We just get sandblasted!
Hope they get your box fixed right and quick.

that really sucks. those tornados were pretty nasty here in the midwest. I think there were like 47 tornado sightings in Missouri in one night?
