*sigh* ordered my thundercloud xB, about a week ago, dealer tells me June 15th, and my xB is at the port waiting for delivery, then called with my vin and stuff, but this is just like MAY...June 15th is like a YEAR away *exaggeration* but thats what it feels like. And whats worse is that my 18 inch wheels will be here BEFORE my xB will!!!THE PRESSURE...I cant take it!!! And to make matters WORSE...to show how much I am wanting the xB I have been to my dealer EVERY other day testdriving the demo lmao!...Isnt that desperate?

 

Nice to know I'm not the only one going Crazy , I ordered mine on April 15th, and because its through my wifes work they actully build it after the order is placed, so I have to wait till mid July before its here for delivery. It's driving me crazy, I'm on this site for hours every day. My wife says I'm Obsessed. And I don't deny it. waiting really sucks

 

it's all worth the wait... i guess u have alot of time on ur hand to be test driving every other day..hehe. it's all good.

good things come to those who wait... i suggest u take up a hobby during the meantime. only 3 weeks away...

 

I'm waiting for mine to. It really sucks that I have to sit here and look at all the accessories for them but I don't have an xB to put them on yet. I already have the Intake, Header, CC Lighting, and Emblems. I just need my car to get here. I can't even test drive the ones that are here because I am not allowed to drive our cars off the lot.....

 

i know how u guyz feel. I wont get my xb until June 23rd! Haven't bought anything except for a keychain. I hate to see everybody else with theirs and say how sweet it is and how fun it is to drive. I've test drove 2 xb's. One at the dealer im going through and one at the other dealer here. I would buy stuff I want but I dont want that to get out of hand. I just hope this wait is worth it! :D

Yeah well that's nothing... I have to wait till October!!!! What is it... 5 months and 10 days... and counting...

 

I waited 4 months to take delivery of my RS1, not by choice either. But it is definately worth the wait.

 

Is there any indication that production will increase on the Scion's to meet consumer demand? Or is this a case where dealers will start adding onto the sticker price for "Market Demand" like they do with the Evo and the STi?

You are in luck! Toyota/Scion had locked the dealers into a set price for the vehicles similar to the way Saturns are priced. The dealers are not allowed to alter the price of the vehicle in any way. What you see is what you get. I think it's a great way to do things. I hate haggling over the price of a car.

I'm sure production will rise to meet demand shortly. The xB is a unique vehicle and they probably wanted to make sure there was enough demand to warrant their production. When the PT Cruiser came out it was the same way.

 

I agree with you guys. But I tell you this, if you want to see some people ready to pull their collective hairs out, look at the TC board. There are more people crying on that board than any I have ever seen.. I understand the anticipation is driving everyone crazy, but there is nothing you can do about it. So stop whinning(tc people). I love the Tc too, I almost put in an order on one, but I didn't want to wait, and I figuered out that I will never be able to make it as fast as I want. So I am getting a Xb to save money. :D Mine should be here around June 15th as well, can't wait. Then I can concentrate on getting a fast toy.
