Im thinking about popping on some Axis TC Evos. Was wondering if 17 would be an ok size. I am going to be driving A LOT (about 300-400 miles a week) and wanted to know if these would be safe to ride on. Also, i do not plan on lowering the vehicle.

well Nilo set me str8. I decided to go with 18's. What kind of tires should i get though? Im going to be moving to massachussetts so i know that when the weather gets going, im gonna have to ride stock again

speedo is off by 3.7%, on 60mph were actually traveling 62.2 mph, not much of a difference, i drive like a granny anyways(looking for potholes to avoid

Im not sure where you're located now but MASS isnt known for it's velvety smooth highways summer OR winter. I'd avoid 18s if I were in your shoes. :(

Do you have any rubbing anywhere when cornering hard? I assume if it works on a 2" drop, it'd be fine with stock? Thx.

i dont rub either with a 2 in drop, but now i may be selling my maglites, for a set of 20s.....i know i know, i always hated on dubs, but these are sweet, unreleased axis dubs in a 20 x 7.5, which "should" fit without rubbing

40, although if i could have custom offsets, or a choice i would run 35ish in the front and 25ish in the rear, making everything flush

Im running a 215/45R17 as well, on a 40MM offset wheel too. I did have to fit a 3MM spacer on the front to clear the caliper, and i do have minor rubbing issues at full turn on the steering wheel. The rubbing is on the plastic inner fender, and will wear itself flush over time. BTW, im also riding with a 1 inch drop with the Tein H series, much better ride now over stock.
