Hey Everybody. I just got my tC about two weeks ago and have almost 600 miles on it. Anyway, I noticed since the day I bought it that the brake pedal kind of moves from left to right and it just drives me nuts. Does this bother anybody else? I went back to the dealership to sit behind the wheel of another tC and it seemed to move too. Just thought I'd see if anybody had any ideas on fixing it themselves before I have to give in and take it to the dealership. :(

Yeah, I'm just afraid of them trying to do work on it and messing it up even more. I hate dealerships. :(

Try to buy some aftermarket pedals.. I have the OBX pedals, they were only like $30 and they look great.

That's for the manual, but they do make them for the automatic also.

Mine does the same thing, getting new pedals wont help since the whole pedal moves left to right and not just the cover. I got used to it so it doesn't bother me anymore. (I also have an Automatic)
