Default Installed DC SPORTS header **PICS**

I was really surprised at how easy this install was. After reading all the posts about what a pain it is I was a little apprehensive, but I had no problems.

The whole install (in my carport on jackstands) start to finish, including taking out and putting away tools only took an hour and a half. I did not throw a CEL, and have no exhaust leaks. (YEA)

There is a noticable difference in the mid and upper rpms, maybe a little in the low end, but not much.

I definately think it was worth the $230.

I didn't have a problem with the spring bolts, I have a huge torque wrench that popped them loose with no problems.

I am lovin the sound!!

did you get yours through a dealer or ebay? what can a dealer void for installing the header, your powertrain warranty? which exhaust setup do you have?

Dealer can void your emissions warranty. That's the nice thing about the MMW 4-2-1 header: it retains the stock mounting points for the heat shield to cover the header. Gives you a better chance of passing the visual smog inspection.

Just got done with the same install Plus DC Strut Bar, and NEW AEM CAI, I was in and out and out in 2 hrs. I agree with the "surprised" part, everyone that I've read about had problems ......... then again I soaked my spring bolts overnite in WD40.

Looks good Zilla!!

I'll see what I can do about a sound clip. In Washington you don't have to worry about being CARB legal, allthough It did come with a carb sticker, so I would be fine there too.

Washington emission standards are right behind Cali, so I used the sticker.

Sorry!
