So my question is i just got the dc sports header and was wondering if it ruins the warranty and if there is a possible way it can ruin the box besides ruining the mileage? also while installing it do u need to get a new gasket for it im not sure wat the word is

1. Warrenty....yes and no. It has to be the cause of the part that breaks.
2. Ruining the box....nope.
3. MPG...Actually it will increase with like conservative driving due to less backpressure causing the engine to produce work easier. Granted under a heavy foot it will be worse a little bit. +/-~2MPG.
4. Being so new...probably not...but it never hurts. I always change gaskets when one is required to be used.

I reused the stock gasket. My xB is like three months old. The gasket looked and felt like new so it didn't seem necessary.

Installation is easy. However, I used an air impact wrench on the two spring bolts that hold the header onto the exhaust pipe that leads to the catalytic converter. I have no idea how hard these bolts are with hand tools. From what I've read from others on this site I think that its not a problem. Installation took me under 45 minutes. DC instructions were simple and easy to understand. FYI, I had to jack up the car in the front and slide underneath to get easy access to the spring bolts. The only special tools that you might need is a long extension for any type of ratchet or wrench you might use. I used a 10" extension.
