i have a question and want to know if anyone else has experienced this before. If i am cruising, when i put it in nuetral to begin to stop i notice my rpms ranging from 700 to 1200, the needle is bouncing around.
has anyone else seen this happen?
what can be the problem?
please help

when i got my TRD muffler installed it started doing that. i think it's just normal. same thing when i had my civic and the apex'i N1 exhaust.

yup usually happens to me when i let off the gas and am in neutral coasting. rpms drop to ~700 then up again, down, up whatever.

it's probably just the idle air control valve kicking in after the rpms drop. Almost all manual transmission cars do this. It's not a problem unless it bounces like that at idle.

I believe it's the computer learning the air/fuel ratios.. my car does it alot more after I reset the ECU.
