Default turbo oil return line

[img]What is involved in installing the return line in the oil pan on the 1nz-fe. Do i need to remove the upper alluminum portion of the pan.[/img]

You dont need to remove the upper aluminum pan nor do you want to. I drilled into the upper aluminum pan, in the rear right infront of the passenger side inner cv boot...

So, you guys just let the chips from drilling go into the oil pan? I am assuming you ran a bunch of oil down through the motor to try and collect as much as you could?

no, you drop the oil pan...(the little frisbe cover)

they are talking about the lower girdle.
you drop that and the crank will drop out. just drill into the girdle with the pan off. no chips...
