Wouldn't it be cooler if...
I guess it's cool that the tC is made exclusively for the states. But I think it would have better to have it sold in Japan or wherever else because knowing the tC, and how other Japanese cars are. I'm sure there would be a HUGE JDM aftermarket for the tC. There would probably already be numerous Headlights/tail lights as well as more performance and other misc. stuff. The Japanese aftermarket companies aren't producing much because they know they can't put it on their cars over there. If there were tC's driving around the streets of Tokyo, I'm sure they'd have a lot done to them due to the active JDM companies over there IMHO.

im personally glad we don't have a counter JDM tC.
our tC would definetely be the next honda civic. and that means we would be over-run by the HONDUH crowd.
Just say NO to JDM.
USDM is my anti-drug. [for the tC anyway]

I don't think that the tC would just become another civic, there's not that many tC's around me still. I see like 20 civics at least everyday (just the new ones). I see maybe 1 or 2 tC's every couple days. I don't think that just cause we got more body kits or engine upgrades, or exterior upgrades, doesn't mean everyone would be like screw my civic, I'm getting this tC" But that's just my 2 cents
you dont see as many tC's because not as many are made, and many peoples 2nd choice is the civic, since they are in the same class.
but because the QUANITITY issue, i'm talking about the RICE issue. Every ricer and their mom would want JDM parts for the tC if it had a JDM counterpart.
I cant even imagine what the tC would start to look like. Just thinking about it makes me cry.

The civic was alot like the tC when it first came out, not too many around.
All it took was over 30 years of built up reputation to get the civic to the level it is today.
Boys, we got some time on out hands.

The firt civics hit the states somewhere in the mid seventies. I remember they had 12 inch wheels. Those care were small.
Smaller than a louisiana cockroach.

If fed properly can't those things reach the size of a English Bulldog and replace a Gun in the home security industry?
I am glad the tC is USDM. Instead of the US guys saying "oohh, I like that car in japan."
its japanese guys saying "oooh, I rike that car in america."
P.S. hehe the "rike" thing was in bad taste but I couldn't resists
. No offense intended.
My mother does has the same trouble with Rs. I tease her all the time too

I can't wait for Toyota to end the run on the TC in a few years, it's going to be awesome for the rest of us.
Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that Toyota was going use the TC as the new Celica in Japan?

but are the tCs your seeing being modded, or just normal avg. ppl driving them??
i have alot of normal avg. tC owners, that just got the car to just drive, not to mod or anything
i have a good amount of modded tCs that just make me sad, and im sure the issue will get worse
