I've been in Charlotte less than a week and allready got a speeding ticket(58 in a 40mph zone). What are the chances of fighting a ticket up here? In Florida we just send it to an attorney and they make it go away if you have a clean record. If any of you guys in the Charlotte area can suggest the best way to deal with a ticket here I would really appreciate it.

 

get a prayer for judgement... for your first one... I have gotten 2 here in 8 yrs...last one a got a lawyer and it went away.....Florida has crazier speed traps compared to NC

What road were you on when you got the ticket? In the area where I live there is always a speed trap set up on Rea Rd in a 40mph zone between 485 and Bevington Rd on the downhill section where just about everyone will be over the limit quite a bit just due to gravity.

I don't know anything about fighting tickets since I never got one, but I have over heard peoples conversations over the years talking about how they were able to fight them successfully.
