Default Car Alarm Question

Hello.

I really need to get an alarm system for my xB (I work in a bad area of town) but I'm not sure how I want to do it. Should I go with the 'Scion Security' system? I believe it's like 400 dollars and I'm not sure if that includes installation but I'm sure it does. Anyway, should I stick with Scions or go after market and get something else. Can I get something better for less after market?

Also, if I have someone else install my car alarm, does that conflict with my warranty?

Thanks.

I have the crimestopper CS2016FM and love it. It works great, has remote start, dual stage shock sensor, and you can get numerous accessories for it. I think it is way better that scion security and it is only about 150-200$. And installation wasn't that hard with a wiring diagram from crimestopper.

I'd suggest to think mass paranoia!
An alam system that can roll up your windows, add another shock sensor in the back area, you can get LOjacK, interior radar sensor, I'm suggesting this since I've already had a break-in to my car last week. You should get this done before a crime happens. My .02cents.

Look up scionspecialistvegas on here. Has a couple different setups. I got the alrm & remote start for $175 and paid an SL member to do the install. Works great and great customer service. Do a search for his username to find a link to his website.
