Does anyone know if anyone makes a smoothie center hubcap that fits on the stock 15" wheels. I'm looking for the kind that only cover the lugnuts... like the old school VW type.

There is one problem with that. The bulge in the wheel around the lug nuts doesn't have the protrusions to hold a small hub cap in place. Without these, the cap has nothing to hold onto.

Time to get out the welder!

I kinda figured that, but wasn't too sure... it's been awhile since I looked at a stock VW wheel.

I may go with this style smoothie hubcap to replace my 17s for the winter:

Those are my choice, powder-coated to match the car, but they make checking the tire pressure a real pain. They do have a nice clean look that goes well with the xB.

George, I want to see an xB with either VW Centerlines or the Flat Four BRM replicas. Too bad we have the small 4 lug, and VW uses the larger 4 lug.

It's like you were reading my mind cuz those salt flat speed discs are my second choice if I can't find a smoothie cap to work.

#14 would look pretty good on an xB, but only if painted body color...

Those Work wheels look really sick, but all that I'm looking for is a cool looking hupcap for when I swap out my 17s for the stockers and go snowboarding. This weekend I'll take one of my stock wheels to a hot rod shop that carries smoothie or speed disc hubcaps and check to see if they fit.
Anyone know of any shops that may carry these hubcaps in the San Jose area?

if they snap onto the outer lip, they will fit.

i got these a few weeks ago, i have the back 2 rims on but the front 2 wont clear my calipers. Still trying to get some spacers to push them out a bit. it looks kinda ghetto with these on the back and my stockies in the front but o well. i'll try to take a pic of them on when i get home from werk.

Randode,

BRM's YES! http://69.20.111.53/ProductImages/layout/ad-smallf.gif

Classic. I think the classic VW Empi 5 spokes would be sick, but good luck with the wide 5 bolt pattern. The polished Fuch's alloys from the old Porsche's that everyone put on V-dubs would rock out a Box too! Photoshop, photoshop!(chanting)

How sweet would it be to roll out in the XB with the full moons(like the silver one pictured above), then you open the hatch at the show, step up with this for the full effect:
