Hi All,

I was reading about the echo hatchback on yahoo canada and they mentioned a TRD supercharger for the echo hatchback. It has a 1.5L enigne which I am assuming is the 1zz we all know and love/hate. Wouldn't this work on our cars? Aside from fit and and ecu it should work if they come out with one for them?

i dunno, i think the XB/XA have different computers from the echo, for things like the upgraded cd deck, interiror lights.... i think that they are very different. It would be interestering if it worked. All i know is if someone made a ECU for my XB i would get it in a flash

1NZ-FE - 1.5L - In Echo/Vitz/Yaris/xA/ist/xB/bB
1ZZ-FE - 1.8L - In Corolla/Celica GT/MR-S

So if it is an Echo, it has a 1NZ, the same motor, but as stated above, they different ECUs, so it will bolt up & should work, but it may not put out as much as on an Echo.

the blitz doesnt come with a ECU does it?? i dont think it does.... just slaps right on.... soooo.... this same one should slap right on too.

I believe the Blitz has a piggyback ECU.

i was wanting to get a s/c but i dont know much about engines and wanted to know if the blitz kit come complete. so you just bolt it up and go. or is there things that need to be changed and/or upgraded......
