so someone hit my beautiful bsp =(
ok guys I need your help, someone scraped my bumper and it got cut, also where the rear corner panel next to the bumper got scraped too(thank god for no dents) I tried to repair it with touch up paint, but looks like its not going to cut it. My question is would it be cheaper to replace the bumper and let the body shop fix the quarter panel or should I just let the body shop fix the existing bumper? what do you guys think...I'm so sad about this! please help me out
maybe you should let a body shop try to fix it, i rear ended couple of months ago (biggo dent in my rear bumper) and i had to get it replaced and it cost about $550(bumper, paint, & installation time) -- good thing insurance covered it!
maybe some of it isn't the drivers fault lol.. when i got rear ended, i was stopped at the redlight and the lady behind me stopped too.. and then some guy didnt watch where he was goin and hit her and she hit me. sucks.
Look for paintless dent repair...you'll thank me
Most PDR shops don't just do dent repair, they also do touch-up and stuff.
I found a pretty cool site for one:
www.denttime.com

well I was visiting my parents house and my dad backed out and hit me, and he tried to blame it on me because I "parked" wrong...but anyways thanks you guys for the advice, but yea...paintless repair isnt goin to fix that. So anyway I took it to 3 shops to get an estimate the highest quote was $1,000 and the lowest I got was $780. I mean I'm not sure I want to pay that kinda of money for something that really doesnt do too much for me, I think I rather spend that on some nice tires or something.
I would have your dad pay for it. If he hit your car, he needs to pay for it. Granted, dealing with family in situations like this can be hard, he is the one that hit your car and should pay to fix it.
