View Full Version : What happened, nobody showed on sunday.....
n2htwlz 03-28-2006, 05:03 AM From what I heard, there was going to be a few of us out at the Severed in the southwest show and shine on sunday. What happened....
The show was huge, showing was everything from streetrods to trucks to harleys and imports. Pudding wrestling on the stage, live band and of course severed ties being themselves.
I did take home 1st place in the Scion class (sponsored by Larry Miller Scion) which consisted of 6 scions, 3 tc's and 3 xb's. They even brought out thier customized envy green rs3. My family and I were the only ones from our group there besides biggj who was spectating. We had fun but it wasnt the same without the rest of the group. Maybe next time..
Crispyxb 03-28-2006, 05:27 AM Sorry Chris, I really didnt know about that, Congrats on another first place. We missed you on Saturday.
Chris.

moonray 03-28-2006, 12:00 PM Congrat's Chris on the trophy -- Too bad Larry Miller didn't bother to post something
about their envolvement with the show :tap:  They seem to do that alot :tap:
Again congrat's on the good showing
NoLimitzBuilt 03-28-2006, 01:43 PM I was there early in the morning and was not showing. I had posted a thing on here about it. I didnt show cause I have started a couple things on the car and they where not done yet. I had thought about showing anyway, but decided not to. Im not big on showing a car that is tore apart. LOL. Chris it was nice seeing you again and congrats.
Sounds like we missed a great event. Is this a annual show?
if so, we should make sure we get involved.
Congradulations Chris
sprslug_182 03-28-2006, 02:41 PM I did not attend because the posted classes were too vague. This usually being a sign of a poorly organized show. I figure if I need to pay 20 dollars for registration, I should know what im getting into. But congrats on the win and hopefully we will have more detailed information on the next show. wink wink to anyone involved in said show.
RockBlocker 03-28-2006, 02:46 PM Congrats Chris on the win. Family in town keeps me away from events, :(
awesometc 03-28-2006, 03:20 PM Didn't make it out due to having school in the morning & then a spring training game in the afternoon.
Congrats on the win Chris!
n2htwlz 03-28-2006, 04:05 PM Cool, I forgot that spring training was going on, that must have been fun...
Scion was the very last class on the flyer that was handed out at nopi.
Xb_Stud 03-28-2006, 07:46 PM Congrats Chris. Sorry I didn't come out. I was busy working. The benefits of which will soon be seen by all.
Moondog 03-29-2006, 12:41 AM Hey Chris, I was there but had my RS3 parked on the road. Actually I was right across from the Larry Miller Scion. I stopped by and took a few pics of your car but I did not see you around.
