View Full Version : Anyone got a set of these rims? they blow spinners away!
pdxbubba 03-28-2006, 05:26 PM These rims - I hate to say - are pretty sweet. I wonder who will be the first to get them?
Anyone seen these? or have them?

:D
Da_Mac 03-28-2006, 05:29 PM Old they have been out for a while now. I saw a video of them a while back. Kinda cool but kinda rediculous at the same time..
THansenite 03-28-2006, 05:33 PM Those are awesome. They wouldn't be something to use all the time, but would be fun to turn on and have on for just a few seconds while driving to mess with people. Plus, a huge wow factor at shows.
doctorcue 03-28-2006, 06:20 PM Aw man... just imagine the phrases you can put on those:
"Hang up the phone"
"Move your slow a** over!"
"Damn you're hot!"
"No not you, your friend... yeah!"
iyzmi 03-28-2006, 09:19 PM I was just thinking about how cool it would be to have some scion rims with the scion logo in the middle that glows blue with some LEDs at the flip of a switch. Pretty cool.
SO-CAL_TC 03-28-2006, 09:22 PM Those are sick
dugzilla 03-28-2006, 09:57 PM looks like a crash waiting to happen :)
bBlover 03-28-2006, 10:00 PM I can't see the video cuz I'm on my sidekick!
Short_Bus 03-29-2006, 12:58 AM lol nice
Jessman360 03-29-2006, 02:43 AM Are those even legal?
How can those be legal but not underbody neons?
Big_Bird 03-29-2006, 02:46 AM wow, those are actually kinda cool
XB_XIII 03-29-2006, 03:10 AM is that real... it must be programmed or something... that is insane
captainlaziness 03-29-2006, 03:22 AM Those are pretty neat but I agree with dugzillaxb...you throw those on your car and people will be wrecking left and right.
At least the last thing they would see would be cool.
WTF... are you serious???
FLINT 03-29-2006, 07:02 AM WTF... are you serious???VERY!!!!
i would use those for advertizing purposes only. if there was neons inside and out of that ride it would b a str8 show winner
violent_b 03-29-2006, 01:01 PM those Pimpstar rims are TIGHT!!!!!!!!
get them in 22", 24", and 26".
$12,500 for the cheapest set with tires. $19,500 for the 26" set. it would be nice if you could get them in a different rim design.
chrischoi 03-29-2006, 01:10 PM Are those even legal?
How can those be legal but not underbody neons?
cuz underbody exists... they might not have laws about it out yet...
nds_CARnivore 03-29-2006, 01:14 PM Deff not Minnesota winter friendly.....
Soon2HaveAbox 03-30-2006, 07:11 PM Those are pretty sweet.
THansenite 03-30-2006, 08:04 PM Deff not Minnesota winter friendly.....
LOL, definately. Wouldn't want to curb them either. :nails:
05_JDM_bB 03-31-2006, 12:47 AM Eh I wouldnt rock those on the xB, I mean having them be worth more than the xB is already rediculous. I've seen the pricing for these and itll be funny just to see these on a Scion.
Chimmy3 03-31-2006, 03:34 AM They'd definately be for show-only. Would be illegal in most states, if its even legal in any...:
Most commonly it would violate the following:
Strobing/flashing/blinking neons (big no no, confuses and distracts people)
Neons in red, blue, white (emergency vehicle use only)
Neons/light which distract other drivers
and this stuff has been around for a while... but , I think they're just a tad too flashy for most people's tastes
hxckid88 03-31-2006, 04:11 AM holy crap that is hella sick haha. didnt expect that
tn_05_camo_xb 03-31-2006, 04:24 AM I hate to say it, but those are actually really sweet.
spinner27 04-03-2006, 03:59 PM they are pretty sweet, but like everyone else said I dont think you would go very far without causing a wreck
liquidscion 04-03-2006, 04:07 PM wack!!!! it does not blow spinners away or even floaters for that matter!
but everyone is entitled to their own opinions! hehe :blah:
