View Full Version : Greddy SC pretty cheap.
KingLou 03-28-2006, 09:35 PM I found these guys......I dunno anything about them and if they are good to deal with (and I'm currently waiting for a response on if they keep these in stock), but they sell the Greddy SC for @$2,363. That's the lowest I've seen.

Rocket 03-28-2006, 10:49 PM Try PRacing they are a Member here and have a very good price. Tell'em Rocket sent you. I would email them and tell them you found it for that price will they match it? Remember even if it cost alittle more we need to support the people that make this forum possible.

ProshopXB 03-29-2006, 11:49 PM Yeah Rocket i know what Pracing's price is, i stare at it everyday trying to figure how im going to pay for it, it was just a shamless try at trying to get a discount. But soon enough i will order mine from them, like i said above if they want to give me a hookup on the price in exchange for me promoting them on my car, i wont mind.

kee-xb 04-13-2006, 04:00 AM I agree with Rocket Pracing should get the business, personally I haven't been that impressed with istoreparts; I ordered a Greddy informeter they sent me the wrong one and they haven't returned any of my emails - this is just my personal experience with this store!
Soon as I pay my car tax on my new xB I’ll buy one from Pracing…..
hotbox05 04-13-2006, 11:36 PM a shame it isnt carb legal .

cz3ch 04-17-2006, 06:02 AM Give Pracing the business. They are a top notch operation and are really on top of things. Besides they just got their hands on the last ones in the US. Greddy is backordered for at least 60 days, I just got off the phone with them Thursday when trying to track mine down.
mill0048 04-18-2006, 10:28 PM BTW, Rocket, PRacing told me to thank you for the recommendation. :P
Rocket 04-18-2006, 11:29 PM Thanks for Telling them I sent you....You never know I may need a favor someday????

Well put that thing on and head up for Scion Drag Night 2.1 in Orlando on June 9th. Lets see what you can run with that thing on. I'll have the turbo on by then and we can see what kind of gains each gets, we both should get some good drops in times for our 1/4 miles. Woo haa...
mill0048 05-02-2006, 10:39 AM LOL, I'll be willing to bet the Turbo will lay down more power :P I was shocked how heavy the compressor is: 18lbs! This weekend I'll be able to put it on. Until then, it taunts me from the corner of my room...

Yeah kinda stinks when it's taunting you from so close and you can't do anything about it yet. Wow 18lbs, oh well you'll still get some good power out of it and you wont even worry about the weight then. But you should definatley head up to Scion Drag Night its only a 3 hour trip up 95 for yeah, id like to see the SC in person, since for a very long time i was going to get one. Hope your install goes okay and you can make it up June 9th.

The turbo will lay down more power in theory but at the cost of expensive tuning, tons of "drama" with maintenence, and more potential for detonation.. the Greddy S/C combines power, performance, and safety all in one... Good luck with it, let us know when you install it and how it feels!
mill0048 05-03-2006, 12:58 AM No prob. I'm going to take it to work (Aerospace Engine Mfg.) and polish the induction shrouds. They have a very rough (almost shot peened look) texture to them. I'm sure a nice polish will go miles for air velocity.
eight08customs 05-08-2006, 07:54 AM any one put it inan 06 yet?? In hawaii a friend did and guess what after not getting the green light he sent it back to greddy thinking some thing was wronge with the emanage and and it can back and greddy saying nothign was wronge.. installed it back and it was the same thing.. so had to do some thinking becuase in stalled 2 kit already, one in my car and one in a fellow members car.. both 05s the car that this kit was trying to get intalled was an 06 xb.. took the same emanage and plug it in an 05 and the green light came on... the ecu is totaly diff in the 06.. it dosent it look like the 05 ECU..
mill0048 05-08-2006, 10:41 AM :( Mine's an '05....
