My friend recently asked me how much I lowered my xB and I had to say didn't know. When I lowered it I I measured based on rubbing and making sure that my sides, front and rear were even. How would I determine this? The xB brochure says that the xB has 6.1" inches of ground clearance. Would I measure from the middle of both the front and rear bumpers to see how much lower I was from 6.1"?

how did you lower your car? springs, cut springs, heated springs, coilovers, etc. what are the specs of the item which you lowered your car with...? that should tell you...

he went with the ground control coilovers. i did the same. i meant to measure b/f dropping and then after but i was so stoked about getting them put on that i forgot to measure. i do remember a few threads in corner carvers where people showed measurements of their box b/f and after drop. i guess we could use their data?

i live like three blocks from the scion dealer so i decided to go there and measure. these are rough numbers mind you. i got 7.5" f and 9.25" r . these were stock xb's on pretty level ground. i measured mines while there and realized i had only dropped mine 2.25" front and 2" rear. may drop even more later.
