Last winter I lost one remote opener for my xB. Assuming it wound up in a snowbank after our first snowfall 'cause that's when I lost it, I waited until the snow was gone and made a thorough search of the driveway and adjoining areas. No joy; no remote.

So, I was at the dealer's getting an oil change and I had the parts guy order a new one. That's where I proved myself dumb and gullible; it cost 85 bux for the remote (!!) and 40 bux for the programming (!!!!) It's too late for me, but if anyone else is in this situation you can save a bit of money if you:

1) Go on ebay and search for 'xb remote' and order one there for less than 20 bux

2) Go to http://tinyurl.com/lgw3c and follow the directions there (pretend you're doing the hokey-pokey during this step ;^)

3) Smile 'cause you saved 80 bux or more
