Hector (toyotaisme) has the HID's on his box...and they look pretty pimp.

I just can't bring myself to spend $400+ on lights...

its like" i had been with 56k for long time but once i install cable modem.....it was impossible to go back to 56k........never"

 kinda the same concepts with the halogen(spellings) and HIDs....

If you do a search for HID's you'll find a ton of stuff. There's been quite a few discussions on this. Plus there are a couple pictures that you can check out. :)

OBZ: I like your new riddle, but it's actually a trick, there are lots of different answers.

Such as: prince, care, deadline, posse, needle, brass...I can think of a few others.

All you have to do for mounting is to just secure the two ballasts on the R/L sides of the car...should be right over the R/L wheel well.

And for those who claim that 300+ for "lights" is rediculous--you probably have never driven a car equipped with HIDs. Also--can you really put a price on improved road vision at night? Makes you think about all those useless mods that add up to more than a few hundred bucks, don't it.

Truth

I put them on my Corrado and after driving with HID's for like 2 years, I can't go back to regular lights. After rock guarding the front, it'll be the first purchase I make on mine.

with the hid conversion, does it take away the hi beam capability since xb uses same bulb for both functions?

Yep! That's one of my big apprehensions with doing this conversion. But I may bite the bullet when the time comes. ;)

Not if you buy a kit that features a Hi/Lo beam function...

These typically cost more, but do feature a mechanism that directs the light upwards when you hit the hibeams.
