I am looking for a little help in deciding the route to take in lowering my xB. I am considering going with either the Tein H-Tech lowering spring (1.1” drop front / 0.9” rear) or the Progress Tech. springs (1.8” drop front / 1.5” rear). I will go with the Monroe SensaTracs in the rear at least, and possibly in the front. My main goals are to get as smooth a ride as possible and to lessen the wheel-well gap a little. One concern is that I want the car to sit level when done.
Can anyone compare the ride between the Tein H-Tech and Progress Tech. springs? I am leaning towards the Progress springs. Has anyone done the Progress springs with the SensaTracs front and rear? That is the way I would ideally like to go, but I am worried that the front will set too low (compared to the rear) since the front springs are 0.3” shorter than the rear and I have read that the Monroe struts are shorter than the stock struts.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have Tein H's, and the car sits pretty level to me, still more wheel gap in the front then in the rear, but much much better than it was before. I also didn't want to slamm my car to the ground either, i can barley fit a jack under my car with the H's, couldnt imagine it any lower . The ride isnt bad either still not 100% comfy but it never will be with a lowered ride and bigger rims. Good luck with your choice.

Thanks. Are you running the stock struts and shocks?
