A couple of people have this one, made my PME. It fits in the rear wiper hole, or can be mounted in the rear bumper.

Gabe (Stylis), and Mikey (Mikey), have rear view cameras installed here in Nor*Cal. There may be others, but those are the only two I know around here. You can ask them about their set-up.

Maybe a stupid question but I'll ask anyways... What else is needed besides a camera and LCD to do the backup cam thing? I mean, is there a control unit or something else that feeds the camera image to the screen or does it just send the image straight to the LCD? I like the idea of the cam AND it's the perfect way to eliminate that useless rear wiper...

I've got an LCD at home, Do i just need the camera?

Piston has the PME one that I mentioned.

And to answer TheScionicMan's question, the camera just has an RCA output, so it can go either directly to a screen, or into an RCA switcher, if you have multiple video sources such as DVD, XBOX, etc.

there isn't really a lot of work to it mark. Just need the camera, video cable out put, and power going to the camera. After that just plug it into the monitor, if you want I will show you my set-up at the next meet. :D

just hook the power lead to your reverse bulb. oh and make sure you get the reverse cam so the pic comes out looking exactly like what you would see in the rearview mirror.

I need to order a different part from PME - who did you find that carry's PME's stuff? Also, PM Piston about the rearview camera. As of Sunday 06-21-4 he had 1 camera in stock.
