Default Large Banging noise coming from Rear...?

before anyone tells me to go check the threads about rattling i've read them all and i don't think those are it. I'm hearing a loud clanging sound coming from the driver side rear of my car. I just installed Hotchkis springs, and im thinking it could possibly be my rear shock. Anyone else have this problem? I only hear it when going over bumps or uneven road. I'm going to get it checked out by the dealer saturday but in the mean time anyone experience anything like this?

Make sure all your bolts are tight. Sway links etc.

dude, that sounds like a problem to me

You should get that checked out like NOW. Serioulsy, I'd be freaked out about hitting a major bump or anything on the freeway and owning a side and having a wheel fall off or something.

i have the same noise coming from the rear passenger side. i am on hochkis springs too, and i have no idea what the sound could be. it only happens when i go over this one bump at school, no other time. I checked all the bolts and everything is peachy. Do you have the hochkis sways too?

did you make sure the spring was seated properly on the perch if not that could also be causing the noise.

Are you sure its not the exhaust bouncing around? Check to see if one of the hangers is off maybe?

Might be rear sway hitting aftermarket exhaust. Happens a lot on many cars

I have the same problem on my car. It is not really lound sound, and i am sure it is nothing mechanical on my car, but i hear somthing clanging in the reat, like plastic is hitting plastic or somethin. Ive checked everything, and all seems to be ok. Any ideas? and yeah it's only heard from the drivers seat.
