djimpak 05-27-2004, 05:21 AM 18x8 with 35 offset will probably fit but not the 5x112 part.
RyaN21 05-31-2004, 05:34 AM anyone know how much stock wheels weigh?
integsrtite 06-03-2004, 02:43 AM i've been reading up about tires and rims and i just wanna know if i'm on the right track so please correct me if i'm wrong:
1) tire size "215/45ZR17" 215mm is the width of the tire, .45 is the ratio of tire height to tire width, 17" is the inner radios of the tire, otherwise used for the rim size
2)size "17x7JJ" 17 is again the rim size, 7 is the rim width
3) PCD is the diameter of the circle formed by the bolts
4) offset is the distance between the center line of the rims and the inner edge of the bolts, + being outwards and - being inwards (relative to the car)
assuming that i have been correct so far, i have 2 questions:
1) the tire itself is 4cm wider than the rim... is this normal?
2) if the offset determines whether the the tire will be too far outwards and rub against the frame of the car... given a correct offset, are there any measurements to determine if a rim/tire combination would rub against the area directly above the tire? this should have something to do with the suspension as well right?
thanks guys!
tinybigrig 06-03-2004, 07:14 AM you should be able to fit 19x9 no problem in the back....heheh i head someone test fir a 19x 10 already too.....hmmmm i think 19x8.5 is the biggest you can run in the front of the car...and by the way bolt pattern is 5x100
brent

The thing you need to keep in mind is a tire is round (when you look at its cross section) and flexes a lot during use. Not only that, the wheel it's mounted on can vary is width. As such, you can' use conventional measurements.
Milhamscion 06-03-2004, 12:15 PM where can I get a set of Dunyearstones for my ride? they look awesome!!

hahaha ditto! i want some.
I have seen the TRD 19s on a flint mica model here at work, and they are sharp! The 19s really give the car a different look. It looks like a $35k-$40k sports car with 19s.

S_on_Da_5 06-12-2004, 09:15 AM Good info. What about bore size?
hal9000 06-12-2004, 12:59 PM Onyx is right about the 19's..car looks like 3 series or A4...links to front and rear shot of Flint Mica w/19's and springs. I'll probably get this setup then throw Blizzaks on the 17's for winter.

SERG4U 06-14-2004, 06:57 AM Just so everyone knows here is the price of the 19" rims with out the TRD http://store.finalstageauto.net/19rhproj5wh3.html
I was really hoping to pick up some 18" RH Pro J5's in gunmetal with the polished lip, but it doesn't look like they exist in anything other than a 19" wheel. Is that right?
djimpak 06-14-2004, 04:59 PM ^^^ only 19". sucks because i also wanted those in 18".

Bummer. I really like the wheels, but I personally think the 19's look a little too big.
That, and I don't think I would enjoy shelling out $1000 every time I need new tires.
djimpak 06-14-2004, 05:49 PM i'll be getting these instead of the J5s
