Default Radio questions: double-din or 1.5din? Running two head unit

Hi,
I have a clarion deck that plays mp3 cd's and acts as a dvd/video controller for my clarion dvd/7" motorized screen deck. I have both of these in my current car, and wondered if they would fit in the opening for the scion's radio. They are essentially two single-din-sized units. I have seen the installation kits for aftermarket radios for scions, and they look like one-and-a-half sized DIN openings....

does anyone have two radios installed in their dash? or a radio and a separate CD/Video system? I would like to do this without chopping up my dash....

thanks

it is a duece duece din and your setup should work but you would have to fabricate the install kit on the side since our headunits are wider then normal double din.

are there any commercial kits available to cover the space from the extra wide head unit? This part shouldn't be too expensive if you don't want to fab.

yeah, there's this one:

http://www.audio-discounters.com/toyk969.html

i was thining i may just order this, then take a dremel to cut out the bottom portion - this install kit would at least give me the framework i need.

thanks for your input guys.

that looks great! how did you make that? did you you a special mounting system or just shove the radios inside a plastic frame?

what is holding them up?
I am a novice so you have to forgive the dumb questions, but i intend to do this myself!

thanks!
