have any video equipment in the car? my experiences with HO alternators and video in the car have been shady causing lots of interference and what not. but I would like to upgrade, not something that big, but a lil better than the crap stock unit

i havent experienced any issues with my avic d1 nav unit but thats the only video in the car. 175A is killer and there is no need to go smaller, especially since they are all the same price

If anyone needs an HO alternator they should hit up dominick@tds.net I haven't got one for my scion yet, but I had one of his in my last car and it was amazing. He quoted me $379 for 180 A or $399 for 200 A...for a little extra I'm pretty sure he can hook it up with an external voltage regulator as well. Also the alternators are built (not re-built) in the factory case so it drops right in.

I don't even know the guy personally but he's definitely on the level, search around on any car audio forum and you're bound to see a few threads about his alts. I know he did a group buy and gave 20% off about a year ago on the sounddomain forums...maybe we could get a bunch of scion owners together for another one.

im cursious to see what kind of components he uses. H-O-Alternators.com custom makes alternators for every application and used a denso for my xb. the difference is amazing and im very happy with my purchase

H-O-Alternators.com is the best IMHO
