I was just wondering how much are you guys paying for full coverage on an Xa? I'm in the market for one and first time buying a car, so I have no clue what to expect in terms of cost. I have 14yrs. driving experience, and 1 speeding ticket on record 3 yrs. ago.

Hi...I currently have a 1997 cavalier. I've been driving about 14 years also and I'm paying about $70/month for insurance for the chevy. My insurance agent quoted me about $94/month for an Xa. Keep in mind, though that I got in an accident last summer. It wasn't my fault (tire blow-out on the freeway), but it did about $4000 damage to the car and even though it wasn't my fault, it still affects my rates, which I think totally sucks. Anyway, I had also checked on coverage for the Mazda3, the Corolla and the Mini Cooper and the Xa was the cheapest. The next cheapest was the corolla at about $112/month.

So anyway, that's my experience. My agent can't give me a final number until I get the VIN for the car. I pre-ordered my Xa, but still don't know the VIN, so...that's the best I can tell you right now! :)
