Default Brand new Scion XB Envy Green was hit "funny story"

Here is one for the books. I just bought my green xb and park it in a loading zone on a Sunday to unload for my wedding while in side the building someone backs up into it in a Ford truck NEW truck that is. the first thing I asked is did you not see the green car behind you while backing up, he said no Wow I was amazed to here that the car that he walked right passed to get into his car that is bright green was missed by the eyes "most people give me weird looks in my rs 1.0 but not too see the green one is a very amazing wow a green box " so he asked for my insurace saying that he was not at falt for hitting my car WOW i said i dont think i need to give you that when you hit my car he had some load woman say it not your fault he parked in a yellow zone and he too far away from the curb this lady was yelling or talking real load at me so i called the police that was great got the run around and finaly the sheriffs came out "this is a nother story " the sheriff came out and said i was at fault for parking there and he was at falt for hitting me. The first thingt i said well i cant say it here !!!!!!!! So all i could do is give the insurance too the sherif he gave me his and we went on our way. Well i was reluctant too call the insurance company thinking that i was at fault but did anyways too my surprise the sherif was wrong i was not at fault. The other guy was even knowing i was parked in a yellow. I found out in cali that if you are parked in a yellow on a sunday it is NOT a Loading zone but an unoccupied parking space not a loading zone . Wow why are the sheriffs not giving out the right info about traffic accident. Lesson Learned always report you accidents too the insucane even if you think you are at fault you just might not be OH secondly not all peace officers are right!!!!!!

Yeah i know how that feels. Some lady admitted to me that she backed into me one time and then went to pick up the money from her because she said she was just going to pay me cash and then said it was my fault.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about the xB

Regardless of where you're parked, shouldn't he have been looking out for other cars as he backed out?

But yeah, good luck on the whole situation. Hope everything works out. =)
