Well we at SP are know doing a XB turbo kit. We will starting the project in about 2 weeks and hope to have the kit up for sale by late May or Early June... This kit should also fit the XA as well. I may need a XA for test fit. I will keep all you XA guys up to date on that when the time comes..Our plans our to make a turbo kit that the turbo will mount up front insted of the back of the motor. We want to the turbo and pipes to be out were you can see them.. We will post pics when we get started...

The wheels on my XB were the Racing Hart J8 pro in 19". I sold them with the car but they are not cheap. They are around $500 per wheel no tires!!!! but very nice and very strong wheels...

I heard SP was dropping the project because the connecting rods are like tooth picks, at least thats what they told me when I bought my exhaust from them.

^^^^ Ive heard that our piston rods are forged, so i dont think they will brake like toothpicks, the only internal upgrade you will have to do (maybe) will be the pistons, but ive heard of alot of people that are turbo with stock pistons.

i was running a stock block 6 psi daily and anywhere from 9-13 psi on the weekends with a MBC...this was all run on a T20BB with a return line fuel setup and complete fuel system upgrade(every part of the fuel system except for the tank pretty much).

I went in there to talk to them and they said that they dropped the idea becuase the connecting rods are weak. I am not a big fan of this company, every time I go in there they always have and attitude, I don't recommend doing busniess with them.

you recommend doing business with them even though they give you an attitude? I don't understand.

oh lol. I was reading it and got confused.

But for a company that wants the turbo to be in the front because of LOOKS? I don't think so. I'd rather not be able to see the turbo and have greater performance and reliability, than to be able and see it.

Mass turbo lag and looks v.s. power and reliablity? :nails:

actually, the turbo in the front would be way more efficient due to the heat that is created behind the firewall...I had that issue with my turbo setup and it was a poor design. The fabric on the firewall started to melt from all the heat.

Well im glad I won't have to worry about my turbo burning the fabric on my firewall. :lalala: :lalala: :P
