I've been seriously thinking about getting my tC Painted a Bright Yellow, I just would like to know how the Scion community would react to such a color. Do you guys think it would slick? Or "Ricey" as some would say. I was thinking about The Kamanari Kit, Black Rims CF Reverse Crowl. Do you guys think that would be sick and unique? Or Simply Stupid? But Then Again it always comes down to what I THINK is Nice, but still an opinion would be good.

I think Yellow might work well with the tC but I would have to see it.
That pic up there ^^^ im dont like that color its to ummm mustardy looking. It doesnt look like a true yellow.

mustang yellow? hummer yellow? 350z yellow? (idunno the real color names. haha)

i think it would look nice, just make sure you get it done right or it'll look all ricey

I think the main thing is that yellow has been played out over the years on sports cars. I like it sometimes, and I am sure it would look ok on the tC. I just got kinda burned out on it. But like you said, it is what you want, so go for it.

Now the phoenix yellow... IMO all you need is that and 4 doors and you have a taxicab I expect to see YELLOW CAB written down the side :D but thats just my take on it

I think it would be pretty hot. Definately a head turner, especially in the Scion community since that color isn't available.

How much do you guys think a metallic yellow paint job would cost? I'm willing to spend up to 2,500 max. And instead of painting the side view mirrors i'm thinking of like painting them flat black or metallic, opinions on that?

 

I'm an ex-SRT-4 owner... Solar yellow (03-first few weeks of 04 neon color) is a halfway decent yellow color.

Black Rims with a Crome Lip would look even better , Nice choice of verbs their lol.
