Default *********Scion Speedway Cafe Revised!!!!!!!!!**********

Okay everyone here is the deal………

Due to recent events happening on Scionlife with the Scion Speedway Café, The first plan has been shot down. Now I am going to speak for myself… This event was truly to benefit the children at Happy Hill Farms (Financially Disadvantaged Children and / Drug abusing parents) we started off with everything going smoothly with this event and then suddenly it got out of hand, I blame no one for this (except for everyone that wants everything given to them)…. I was given a call this morning from one of the head people at GST asking, “What is going on with this event?”… I told them what happened and they told me to cancel it… and I did. So now I have come up with a complete revision to the whole event. I personally, speaking for myself, would be ashamed for asking more when things are just given to you… thinking of yourself before our future “our Children”!

The event is still going to go on but it is now completely rearranged!

-Everyone who attends Will Pay For Their Entry of $25.00
-But the dealership will match every ones entry fee totaling 50.00 per entry.
-The event is held for Scions and the dealership match will only be used for Scions.
-A limit of one car per family will be allowed because everyone should be allowed to make their contribution for the kids.
-With the new changes we will be matching up to 80 cars for a contribution of $2000

If anyone has complaints just simply keep them to yourself this event is not open for discussion, and those of you who attend I have nothing but respect for you and your families showing up for this shows a lot about your character and who we really are as people

Thanks,

Dave

Dang it David, now I gotta fork out $25.00 bones out of my pocket. It's cool though, it's for the kids and I do have 2 myself. Count on me that I will show my support.

Come out, come out to TMS...this is for a good cause. This charity event is for a good cause - for the world's future and future scion owners . I know I'm going to be supporting this cause....ARE YOU???

I offered to give up my spot last time anything for charity. One question I know your only matching one car but can I still bring two since I'm paying. Thanks.

I have a question? What if I can't make it but I still want to donate 25.00 to the good cause? I have three kids so this is definitely worth it for me to make a donation even if I can't participate in the event.
If someone can just tell me where I can deposit my 25.00 and I'll be happy to do so.
I haven't been in the Scion Family very long but I wanted to show my appreciation for everything the dealers and everybody in this community do! Thank you to all!!

This was a great idea. Not only does the money get to the needed Charity, but now there is more of it. If the dealers are spending so much money to entertain so often, why not have one event where all the money they would normally spend is given back to those who really need it instead of just filling bellies of Scion Owners with food or offering them that one more free mod.

I Think I will take this approach when Joe Myers Scion holds our next toy drive this year instead of offering freebies and raffles to those who attend, just offer to double the donations to the charities. Thanks for keeping the right Focus on this One David!!!!!!!!

Hey Ned, Throw me down for a $50 Donation

David......Please post who Donation checks should be made out to. And is it OK to send the Donation to your attention to the Dealership? LMK
