Default A pillar gauge pod

Who has an A pillar gauge pod and what gauges did you put in? Could someone possibly do a good write up on it and stick it in the tech section?

Default a pillar gauge mod

I am in the middle of installing a a pillar gauge pod. Got the pod from scion sport , it has four spots for gauges. Also got the adapter for water temp, oil temp and oil press from scion sport . Got the gauges from ebay a company name bestuning. All four gauges with shipping were about 120.00. Gauges were all electric with 270 deg sweep and 7 color led lite.

why was it a pain to install???

it is just held on with tape...the pain for me is the factory sunvisors do not clear the top gauge.

i hooked it up to the factory pillar cover....

did you have problems with fitting all the wires by the dash?
or making the two stick together?

i took the piller out... more room for the air lines... and i didnt have any probs making them fit into the dash... it was just attaching the pod to the headliner which sucked!

yeah, if you don't tape it to the stock one, it kinda just falls down all the time....

only other option is to get another a-pillar cover and trim it out so the lines are easy to get through, but it still has the clips to secure it like factory....
