Your gonna want to PM a couple of members that have different racks. PM "scionara" "MIKEY" and "toybox1" By the way MIKEY has a rack for surf boards. Hope this helps. :D

Yeah, I cant tell much from those pics, but looks like a Thule or Yakima rack, which I will probably be getting. Does it hurt to leave those racks on for a while? Like all summer?? What about gas mileage?

toybox1 has roof-mounted tracks and Yakima rack:

Dave's rails make a more permanent install but was needed to be able to get the rack load to go behind the sunroof. . Also with the black, they blend right in. The Q-towers are removable but your span is limited by the door jambs. Shouldn't be an issue with surfboards

I haven't got mine on yet, it predates the Q-Tower setup but should still work on the Box. Yakima has great stuff, accessories to carry almost anything that would safely go on a roof and really good security concepts built into the product. And its an American company, I even used to work for them...

Hey, sweet pics. That rack looks pretty good! Think I will go with Yakima.

you can get rails at JC whitney online for like 65 bucks. You should get them professionally installed (they screw into the roof) but they should have a clean "stock" look and shouldn't make wind noise.

I have the "bell" suction cup rack from target. (har, har)

It prob won't carry boards, but I't looked like the old school beetle rack to me.
