I have been looking at buying a new motorcycle on eBay, but I want to find someone that knows what they are talking about. I do research before any big purchase so I want to buy from someone that actually knows what they are selling. I hate listings that say something like "clean title, runs nice, few scratches" and one picture of it. I want to see it from every angle and a GOOD description of the vehicle.

 

Claims to have heated seats, too.. I guess those could be aftermarket. They probably had someone else make the ebay posting, and that person didn't know anything about the car...? Weird though.

I love it when Auto Trader mixes pics up and you see an '82 Chevette displayed for an '05 Tacoma.

 

Maybe the other four cylinders are in the trunk??? LOL

As for the heated seats, those are possible as I have them in mine, though yes, they are aftermarket.

 

i believe these are the same guys that were selling a V6 2005 tC that was clearly a 2006 awhile back..

and well.. duh... V6? ahaha... geez... this is twice they've screwed up..

Wow, they fit a 4 banger's engine cover on a V8.

 

If anyonw wants to get me the phone number to this guy that lives in port st lucie selling the tc with the v6, ill be glad to drive to his house for everyone. Im sure he dosnt live anywere near me, and that this is just a scam

 

Well I just sent a message to both sellers asking them how they managed to make a 16 Valve engine that produced equal power on all cylinders in both the V6 and V8 flavors.......let's see them explain this away, I'll post the responses later.

Why were you expecting something nice in the engine bay from a thread titled "HAHA look at this stupid ebay listing! V8 tC !!"? And the author of this post is not "freaking stupid" for starting this thread because it is an ongoing problem.

 

I'm surprised that it's not a 6 speed too.

 

the last time they removed the V6 "2005" tC.. but they put it right back up... they're really trying to scam people.
