Well, here it is: Scion Invasion

It is going to be a lot of fun. All the info is on the site. Check it out, fill out the survey, and let me know what you think. All the plans for the days are not completely finalized, but these are the plans as of right now. They may be subject to change at a date closer to the event, but the only way that will happen is if you all give us some great ideas for the event.

Also, go sign up on Scionetics!

Help me talk it up! If you know people that aren't active on ScionLife, tell them to check it out. With your help. this could be the biggest event of the year for Scion.

Hey John,
According to mapquest it is only 526.64 mi to Roswell and it sounds like it could be alot of fun. Of course you may have to cover up your car a little bit as the locals might get a little nervous with all that GREEN showing up in their town(HA,HA,HA). We will bring this up at the meeting on Saturday night.

The date will not change. Sorry for my absence lately...I've been busy with WAY too many things(work, school and play).


It is a nice drive from Colo Springs and Denver...I believe it is right at 7 hours from Colo Springs, but the last time I travelled there was about 6 years ago so I could be wrong. I do know that I went with my Grandma and I survived that trip. And, I know its 8 hours from Denver. Its a pleasant ride.

So...I hear from little birdies *cough*region*cough* that there are some plans for some people to come to the show/meet. There is a list in the other thread, but not many have signed up so how many of you are coming or thinking of coming?

I believe that the amount and quality of free stuff has a direct impact on the amount of people who may show up of you. Sell us on it, Man. Make us dare not miss it. Where is the hook?

 

The hook...What will make YOU come? I bet we have it.

We have approximately $10,000 in prize money. We have trophies. We have cruises. We have plenty of things to do. You like music? We have plenty of it. We have several bands pending. We have some people from Scion HQ coming for it. We give you the opportunity to visit the UFO Crash Site, or you can go see the Historic Route of Billy the Kid. You want to party, dance, and have a good time at night? During the show? We'll bring it to you with a Foam Dance, live performances, and a live DJ. You have any family...kids, wife? We'll keep them occupied with activities and things to do. Want to meet hundreds of other Scion fanatics? Want to meet who makes your parts or sells you the parts you just ordered online? Do you want to come to an event that SCION is excited about attending? Do you want to be a part of something fun, exciting, and unforgettable? Do you want to be the person who reads all the people's accounts of their time here when they get back home and wish you would have gone? Do you want to be the person that sees the pictures of the event and wishes you there?

Scion personnel will be here. They are really excited about the show/meet. Does Mike Tripp mean anything to anyone? He's being talked to and there are other possibilities for big Scion names to appear. Wait, what if they brought the '08 models?

If this isn't enough to spark your interest, don't worry. We are adding things daily, and the event is still 3.5 months away.

We're acquiring a new sponsor/vendor nearly everyday. We will have goodies from Scion and all Sponsors. There will be many door prizes, awesome goodie bags and plenty of free stuff. Quality of the free stuff? Well, if you'd buy parts from the people that donate these products or goodies, why wouldn't you accept the same things for free?

How about food? Ever had REAL green chile? Ever had REAL Mexican cuisine? Come to the show and get your fill of some green or red chile, hot or mild.

hmmm hundreds huh ? maybe people not cars ? how many people signed up so far ?

 

Yes...hundreds of people(Scion fanatics).
The car count should reach the hundred mark by end of July early August. It is pretty early still so most people are waiting to confirm with their jobs/family/other obligations that they will be able to go.

(Gathered through polls, lists compiled in threads in this region, and Scionetics event calendar)

I won't count the amount of cars from the calls we have received from Florida, West Virginia, California, or Washington state because I don't have those documented or available right now.

The Sweet Sixteen show!? She doesn't live here anymore. She lives with her "rich" dad in Cali because no one here likes her. Her friends still live here though.
