I bought my redline hood lift last night, so Im hoping it will come in a little before the hood since it seems like the hood is never gonna come.

my weapon-r intake, mmw coolant tank, mmw power steering tank, weapon-r oil catch tank, & mmw radiator diverson panel is all on order, just waiting to hear back when it ships.

are you putting the hood lift on your OEM hood or c/f hood??
i will give you this warning, since my broke......i dont rec. it if you plan on opening/closing your hood ALOT

It will be on the carbon hood, and i dont open the hood ALOT, just at shows and when i need to work on it..so maybe 2 times a week?

THANK GOD it didn't happen when i was driving, it ripped out of the rivets, tore a good piece out of my hood and popped the drivers side of the hood completely up

only reason i noticed it was we went on a BBQ cruise to Edgewater and i was popping the hood to cool off the engine, and there it was.

so i just carry my stock hood prop in the back of my car if i need to use it

you secured it with pop rivits? maybe thats why... arnt you supposed to use screws? (i dont know, havent read the install yet).

do you think it ripped because it was connected to fiberglass and no metal? and cause the hood is alot lighter?
